Democracy In The Age Of Facism!

As the summer winds down, the political rhetoric is heating up regarding the health care debate. Insurance companies and their hacks are scaring senior citizens with lies about government-run health care.

As a Vietnam Era veteran, I find their arguments to be hollow skeletons with no meat on them. For the last year of my life, I have been in treatment for prostate cancer in the Biloxi, Ms Veterans Administration. My care has been absolutely excellent, and no one has gotten between my doctors and me. Never has, never will.

There are never any questions as to whether or not my insurance company will pay for a procedure. No pressure on my doctors to get permission to perform whatever is required.

As an American, I believe that the only compassionate thing to do is to establish universal health care for all Americans,just as I have!
