Out Of The Darkness Into The Light
Much has been happening around the Howard Lips Music Publishing neck of the woods over the last year. My co-production project with Mobile, Alabama singer-songwriter Tim Kinsey has produced several internet number one hits, and Kinsey claimed first place in the Country Male Vocalist category for the MySpace 2008 National Music Awards!
We are also in the planning stages for a Nashville recording session with the DTs featuring Darren Hurst & Tom Rouse from Mobile as well.
To top it all off, we entered into a publishing agreement with Buddy Resnik and the Resnik Music Group. We were able to get 10 songs produced by the late Porter Wagoner from Dolly Parton's Velvet Apple Publishing Company, and they are now the "Real American Country" CD released on the Collectibles Label June 30, 2009.
